The software

NExT Digital Tools

Modular mobility needed software that didn't exist.
So we built it.

The pipeline

Four products, designed to manage and optimise the vehicle life cycle: from design to homologation, from simulation to fleet management.

The full NExT tool suite, from design to orchestration

Design · NExT SMART BOM

Navigate your CAD straight from the browser, anywhere | even on a tablet, with semantic X-ray and component tree. Open the production drawings with a tap. Tap a component in 3D space and the system walks up the bill of materials | suppliers, costs, lead times, revisions.

STEP rendering in the browser · semantic search on the BOM

The BOM stays in sync with the ERP without data-entry: drag in the supplier PDF and the AI extracts prices and minimum order quantities and cross-references them with the CAD. “The supplier can no longer make the windscreen, but offers a 50% discount on tempered glass” | the supply variables update and Gantt and pricing re-propagate across the whole BOM.

Simulate · NExT DYNASIM

The physical digital twin of the modular convoy: physics at 2,000 Hz, deterministic to the bit | every run is reproducible and citable as evidence. Pacejka tyres, suspensions from the CAD hardpoints, couplings calibrated against real load-cell tests.

The digital twin under load · telemetry at 2 kHz

And the vehicles compare on the same road: five locked modules measure 18.2 m, the length of an articulated bus. On a real alpine hairpin (a scan of the road) the train snakes module by module, while the reference bus runs alongside as a ghost vehicle: the conventional solution and the modular one, on the same metres of road.

Conventional vehicles and modular train compared · real alpine hairpin

It integrates the HARA scenarios: failure modes and scenarios run on the real dynamics | steering hardover, accidental uncoupling in motion, by-wire blackout | and every scenario is measured twice, without and with mitigation, with the ASIL computed row by row. On the regulatory bench: ISO manoeuvres, UN R13 braking, UN R107 corridors, WLTP cycles, FMI 2.0 export for Simulink.

Certify · NExT HOMOLOGATION COPILOT

The homologation dossier that builds itself as you work: the full ISO 26262 HARA row by row | motivated S/E/C, ASIL with decomposition, safety mechanisms, safe state | with precise references to the standards and dossier versioning.

System architecture · visual ASIL mapping

The AI copilot queries the HARA and proposes mitigations and decompositions; the engineer validates, the document stays traceable. Test protocols come out ready for Type Approval: UN R79 steering, UN R155 cybersecurity.

Operate · NExT FLEET ORCHESTRATOR

The NExT MaaS Platform at work: demand, dispatch and accounts for the modular fleet in a single platform, the same one we offer to operators.

The demand simulator is generative: origin-destination matrices from a prompt, “a rainy Sunday before Christmas”, with real routing. Without months of data-mining.

Simulation setup · network, fleet and demand

The strategy is agentic and runs by objective. “There's a match tonight”: the fleet repositions itself, with convoy formations and docking managed in the platform.

Live simulation with conversational control

Every kilometre feeds the business verticals | charging, maintenance, finance, onboard services | with comparative BI across simulations: Capex and Opex side by side across a conventional fleet, classic pooling and NExT modular.

AI suggests. Physics proves.

Why it exists

Building a vehicle that didn't exist, we had to build its tools too.
Today those tools are worth it for anyone who designs, certifies or operates vehicles.
